These terms and conditions outline the agreement between [Your Company Name] and the client (referred to as "you"). By using our services, you agree to comply with these terms. Any amendments must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties
We offer Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), SAP calculations, and other energy compliance services, in line with UK regulations such as Part L of the Building Regulations and the Energy Performance of Buildings (England and Wales) Regulations 2012. All surveyors will be verified members of a suitable energy assessor accreditiation scheme.
All quotes provided are based on the details given by the client and are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to amend the quote if the project scope changes. All prices are excluding VAT.
Once a service is confirmed, we will arrange a suitable date and time to carry out the assessment. Changes to appointment dates must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Late changes may result in a rescheduling fee of £50.
Payment is required within 14 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. For larger projects, a deposit may be requested. Any overdue payments will incur interest at the rate of 5% per month. We reserve the right to withhold final EPCs or reports until payment has been received in full.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that access to the property is granted at the agreed time and that any necessary documentation is provided. Any delays or additional visits caused by lack of access or incomplete information may incur additional charges.
If the client requests revisions to a completed assessment due to changes in the property or client-provided details, these will be subject to additional charges. Minor amendments may be made at no extra cost, but significant revisions will be charged between £50 and £100 depending on the scope.
Cancellations must be made in writing at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled assessment. Cancellations within this period will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the agreed service cost.
While we strive to provide services with reasonable care and skill, we are not responsible for any losses, damages, or delays caused by external factors such as inaccurate information provided by the client or changes to UK regulations. Our liability for any claim shall be limited to the cost of the service provided.
We comply with UK GDPR and all relevant data protection laws. Any personal information collected during the course of our services will be used solely for the purposes of completing the EPC or SAP assessment. We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) or SAP reports will be issued within 5 working days of the completed assessment, provided all necessary information has been supplied. All reports remain the property of Saxon Surveying Ltd. until payment has been received in full.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in providing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as acts of God, war, strikes, or extreme weather conditions.
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes before services are provided.
